Melvin Barnett Southerland, age 83, of Dalton, passed away, Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his parent William and Annie Mae Southerland, Sisters Marie Jones, and Pearlene McClure
Mr. Southerland is survived by his loving wife: Diana Southerland of Dalton: son and daughter-in-law Calvin and Kristie Southerland and grandchild Chris Shaw all of Chatsworth. At his request, he is to be cremated, with no services at this time.
