Obituary
Mattie Ruth Steelman, age 80, of Cisco, went home to be with the lord Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Ruth was a devoted Christian woman, she loved her family and her children were her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Charlie and Ina Silvers. siblings; Opal Cantrell, Eula Stacy, Mary Lou Long, and Calvin Silvers.
She is survived by her husband Ray Steelman. son, Daniel Steelman, son and daughter-in-law, Samuel and Amy Steelman: granddaughters and spouses, Danyelle and Stacy Payne, Jessica and Jeremy Cronan: grandsons, Hagen and Myranda Steelman, Brady Steelman, and Cody Stafford: brother, William (Bill) Silvers: great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Services for Ruth will be at Little Conasauga Baptist Church, 1100 Sugar Creek Road, Crandall, Georgia, at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023, with Jeremy Cronan and Joel Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Church's Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday at 2 p.m. at the church.
