Marie Metcalf Anderson, age 90, of Dalton, passed away June 4, 2020. Marie was born in Calhoun GA, September 24, 1929, daughter of the late Merlie and Pearl Metcalf. She is a 1946 graduate of Dalton High School.

Marie is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 72 years, Donald Dale Anderson: four sons and daughters-in-law, David (Debbie)of Dalton, John of Newnan, Joel of Rome and Thomas of Decatur, two grandsons and granddaughters in-laws Jacob, (Whitney) and Joshua (Amanda) of Dalton: four great-grandchildren: sister and brother -in -law, Wese Martin ( Ernie) of Evansville IN, several nieces and nephews also survive, Marie is preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Barton.

Marie was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church. At her request, she was to be cremated in accordance with the state-federal guidelines, a private family graveside will be in West Hill Cemetery at a later time.
