Mari Wilene Blanchard Poteet, age 68 of Dawnville, passed away on May,14,2023 at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and Emma Blanchard; brother, Doug Blanchard; stepmother Dorothy Blanchard.

She is survived by her children April Palacio and Bruce Poteet: grandchild, Preston Leonard; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and David Wilson, Tammy, and Doug Amos; brother and sisters-in-law, Terry and Dianne Blanchard, Dwight Blanchard, James Blanchard, Scotty, and Chastity Blanchard, Tim, and Joanna Warnix; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service. to honor the life of Mari Poteet will be at 11:am Saturday, May 20, 2023, at New Life Baptist Church located at 2620 Old Grade Road Dalton GA 30721 with Pastor Rick Spence officiating
