Madge " Nell" Mooney Obituary

Madge Nell Mooney, age 79, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023, at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mark and Annie Mae Bates, Husband Leroy Mooney, and brother Lowell Bates.

Nell is survived by her son Chuck Lee Mooney. Grandchildren Tiffany Mooney, Amber Parker, Madison Mooney, Katelyne Wright. Great-grandchildren Allisa Mooney, Bradon Parker, Kally Parker, Leeland Parker, and several cousins also survive. Special Thank you to her caregivers Pam Bowen and Alisa Stclair.

Services for Mrs. Mooney will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Cohutta; GA The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3 at the funeral home.
