Madelon Rivers Obituary

Madelon Joyce Roper Rivers of Calhoun, Georgia, formerly a longtime resident of Miami, Florida, peacefully passed away on Christmas Day 2021. Joyce was born November 22, 1929, in Waycross, Georgia, to Ward and Madeline Colley, who predeceased her. Reverend Wallace Rivers, her husband, also predeceased her. She is survived by her children: Lynn (and Jeff) Phillips, Jo Ann Roper, Dan (and Lisa) Roper, Christiane (and David) Cox; and stepchildren: David (and Kathy) Rivers, Darlene (and Bill) Holzbach, and Diane Rivers (and Bryan Bean). She is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
