Mrs. Louise  (Nanny) Faye Thornton, age 79, of Chatsworth, gained her wings and went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on May 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Callahan: parents, Otto and Gussie Stone: brothers, Ray, Chester, and Hugh Stone: sisters, Christine Stone, Nellie Allred, Ellen Garrett, Doris Hall, Geraldine Blevins, and Joyce Mills. and three nieces.

Louise is survived by her brothers, Richard, Ronald, and Roland Stone all of Jamestown, TN.: sister, Anna Dishman of Helenwood, TN.: daughter, Louise (Callahan) Russell of Chatsworth: her 2 pride and joy grandkids, Miranda K Coffey and Kenneth Burns both of Chatsworth: great grandkids, Jazmin Coffey, Abby Blevins, Hayden Burns, Aurora Burns, Maverick Burns and Lane Cromer.

The funeral service for Mrs. Thornton will be on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 2 PM in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.  The interment will be in Springdale Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockmart.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
