Mrs. Louise "Ingle" Blackwell, age 90, of Chatsworth, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Eugene Blackwell: father Jesse Ingle; mother and step-father, Sara Ingle Blackwell and Henry Blackwell: grandchild, Stacy Vineyard: great-grandchild, Caleb Grooms: sister, Vannie Grooms: brother, Lee Ingle: and daughter-in-law, Laura Blackwell.

She is survived by children, Shirley (Ulus, Jr.) Long, Glenda (Johnnie) Yother, Melvin Blackwell, Michael (Karen) Blackwell, Brenda Knight, Linda (Ricky ) Bowen, Mary Blackwell, Charles Blackwell (Audrey Davis), Joyce((Jerry) Rogers, Elizabeth (James) Perry: and brother, Jessie Ingle: Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

A service to honor the life of Louise Blackwell will be at 2 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2023, with Jeremy Callaway officiating, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. The interment will be in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 25, from 5 until 8, at the funeral home.
