Lorraine (Lora) Davis, 92 of Chatsworth went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earmil Davis, infant son Danny Davis, parents I.A. and Hester Barnes Sanford; father and mother-in-law Tom and Ethel Davis; sisters, Ina Hickey, Annie Lee Wilson, Thelma Wilson; brother I.A. Sanford, Jr; sisters in law, Leota Kendrick, and Vernie Reed Thurman.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her children & spouses, Sondra (Donny) Hilgeman, Randall (Gwen) Davis, Shelia Hayes (Bob Kozul), Johnny Davis, Darren (Marco) Davis, Karen (Kenneth) Henry; grandchildren, Kevin (Kellie) Sitton, Teah Sitton, Emily Davis, Shanda (Chris) Hester, Jennifer Hayes, Ashley (Brandon) Redwine, Drew (Keshia) Hayes, Tiffany (Matt) Mayfield, Wesley (Teshia) Davis, Justin Davis, Khristian (Alisha) Davis, Raven & Hunter Henry, Andrew (Sarah) Cox; great-grandchildren, Kasey (Brad) Hall, Addison, Lucy, Meredith, and Corbin Hester, Katlyn and Cody Patterson, Davis & Bren Redwine, Sawyer Hayes, Jasper, and Bryce Hayes, Evie Mayfield, Akyra and Logan

A service to honor the life of Lorraine Davis will be Friday, October 7, 2022, at 2 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Ray and  Chris Hester officiating. The interment will be in the Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 5 pm to 9 pm.
