Lomer Mitchell Obituary

Mrs. Lomer L. Mitchell, age 87, of Chatsworth, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, August 20, 2018.

Preceded in death by her husband Hubert Lee Gann, son Charles McWhorter, and grandchildren William Ray Allen, Jr. and Felicia Land.

Survivors include her Barbara Allen of Athens, Kenneth Smith, and Leon Mitchell both of Chatsworth. Sisters Bertie Forrester of Crandall and Pat Poteet of Dalton. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Saturday 12 noon at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Farrell Rogers officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. View Cemetery in McCaysville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday 10 am till the funeral hour at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers please make donations for final expenses.
