Obituary
Linda Faye Rice, age 78, of Chatsworth went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
To say that family was important to Linda would be an understatement. The family was her life, and it was very rare to see her without her daughters and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Rice; her parents, Lester, and Lillie Muse; brother, Zane Dutton.
Survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sonya and Gary Bowen and Denise and Donald Cantrell, both of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Holly Jordan (Matt), Whitney Smith (David), Justin Bowen, and Kim Bowen; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Sluder, Kinsley Smith, and Landon Jordan; special nieces, Karen Jones and Michelle Vineyard.
A service to honor the life of Linda Rice will be 3 pm on Friday, April 21, 2023, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Cantrell officiating. The interment will be in the Holly Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 12 pm to 3 pm.
