Leonard Keener Obituary
Mr. Leonard Keener, age 84, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 13, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Keener; son, Dennis Howell; parents, Roosevelt and Beatrice Keener; brothers, Frank and Johnny Keener; sisters, Nancy Stafford, and Eveline Mann;
He is survived by his children and spouses, Kathy and Jim Schmeltz; Kenneth and Rena Keener, Donald, and Jada Howell; 7 grandchildren,10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews also survived.
A service to honor Leonard Keener's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024, in the Chapel of Shawn Chaman Funeral Home, with Pastor Daniel Mason officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 5 pm to 8 pm
