Leon Brindle, age 87, of Chatsworth, Georgia, peacefully passed away on July 5, 2026 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 15, 1938, in Chatsworth, Georgia. Leon had a deep passion for his family, traveling the world and dirt track racing. He built and operated the Brindle Bros Auto Parts #2 store for over 55 years, becoming a cornerstone of his community.
Beyond his professional life, Leon was a true giver and the life of the party. He was defined by his love for his children, his auto parts store, racing, and his friends and family.
Those who knew Leon will remember him as a racing legend and an incredible provider for his family. With his warm smile and infectious laugh, he never met a stranger and always treated everyone with kindness and a genuine handshake or hug.
Leon’s generous spirit, humor, and love for racing made every gathering more vibrant, and no one will forget how he brought joy to those around him. Leon Brindle is survived by his children, Teddy, Mike (Angela), Chip (Rachel), and Annie (Jake), as well as his grandchildren, Hendrix, Hayez, and Brynlee, along with many other family members and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Exie and Earnest Brindle, his wife of 49 years, Faye Brindle, as well as his brothers and sisters, Earl, Marie, Regnal, Ruby, and Bobby Brindle and several other cousins.
