Lamar "Whiz" Flood Obituary

Lamar "Whiz" Flood, age 73, of Chatsworth passed away December, 13,2021.

Lamar was a retiree of Shaw Industries after working there for 40 years.

Preceded in death, by his parents, Roosevelt and Marie Flood. sister, Shirley Flood: father and mother-in-law Veron and Ada Harris.

Lamar is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lynda Flood: son and daughter in law, Danny and Kym Flood: brothers and sisters in law Ronald and Mary Flood and Clinton and Carletta Flood: sister, Geraldine Green: grandchildren, Hannah,and Logan Flood, Emma banks, friends, Kenneth Sarah and Jaymie Posey: nieces, nephews, aunts, and Uncles also survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Flood will be Friday, December 17, 2021, at 2 pm at Lakeview Baptist Church, with pastors, Donnie Flood, Tim Cheathan, and Gene Thomason officiating. Interment will be in the Eton Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 5 pm to 9 pm.
