Kenneth Eugene Rogers Obituary

Mr. Kenneth Eugene Rogers. age 82, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 23, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Kenneth loved spending time with his family, especially his little ones. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and a Baptist preacher who preached the word of God in churches throughout Murray County and surrounding areas. He was a chicken farmer for many years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Parrish Rogers; parents, Eules (EL) and Grace Rogers; son, David Rogers; brothers, Thurman Rogers, Floyd ( Bunton ) Rogers, JC Boring, Robert Rogers; sisters, Ollie Black, Thelma Pence, Louise Harris, Joyce Truslow, Charlene Mead.


His sons and spouses survive him, Kenny Rogers, Frank and Ginger Rogers, grandchildren, Brandi Rogers, Garrett A., and Brittany Rogers, Caleb (Audrey) Rogers, David (Katriel) Rogers, Kala (Chris) McKinney; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Petty, Garrett Rogers Jr. Braydon Gilreath, Zhane Smith, Steven Forrest, Christoper McKinney, Isaiah Rogers, Sora Rogers Eli Rogers, and Zack Rogers; brother, Eurshel Rogers; sisters Linda Pritchett (Donald); sister in law, Betty Rogers; many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.


A service to honor the life of Kenneth Eugene Rogers will be at 1 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024, with James Nix and Ashley Parrott officiating. The interment will be in the Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 5 pm to 8 pm.


The family will like to thank Hamilton Home Health and Homespun Hospice for the wonderful care that was given to their grandfather .
