Kenneth Phillip Burns, age 40, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2026.
He was a great father, amazing son, brother, and Unc Unc. He loved being outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise Faye Thorton; grandfather, Kenneth Callahan; Sarah Bowen; and Jerry Burns.
He survived his children, Hayden Burns, Aurora Burns, Maverick Burns, and Lane Cromer; mother, Louise Russell; father, Phillip Burns; sister, Miranda Coffey; brother, Patrick Burns; niece, Abby Blevins; and Jazmin Coffey. great nephew, Oaklen Blevins; a very special friend, Amy Marchbanks, and his Labor Day buddies; great uncles, Tubby Stone and Buddie Stone.
A service to honor the life of Kenneth Phillip Burns will be 3:00 PM Thursday, June 11, 2026, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Shook officiating. The interment will be in the Liberty Tabernacle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations toward his final expenses. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 5 PM to 9 PM.
