Joy Lanette Hayes, age 69, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Hamilton Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her mother Jimmie Hayes; father, Starling Hayes; sister Dianne Todd; brother, Ronnie Hayes. and great-grandson, River Colwell.
Joy is survived by her sons, Brandon Hayes (Tina Wells) and Jeremy Southerland (Brandy); grandchildren, Macey Lynn Hayes, Gabe Hayes Faith Pace, Rylee Southerland, Silas Ledford (Daly), and Sydney Ledford; great-grandchildren, Gus Hayes, Oslo Colwell, and Sheppard Ledford; brother, Jackie Hayes; brother-in-law, Thomas Todd.
A service to honor the life of Joy Lanette Hayes will be 1:00 PM Thursday, May,18,2023 in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Cochran officiating. The interment will be in the Springplace Memorial Gardens.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 11 am to 1 pm.
