Joseph "Eddie" Hammontree Obituary

Joseph Edward Hammontree "Eddie", age 72, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2021, at his residence.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Evelyn Hammontree.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Okeema Hammontree: sisters and brothers in law, Jean and Johnson Todd, Penny and Mark Carpenter: several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hamilton Hospice group.

The funeral service for Eddie will be Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 12:30 pm, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home., with Rev. Bruce Beach and Parham Hammontree officiating. The interment will be in the Grace Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
