Obituary
Our Father, John James Frank Jr. was born January 29, 1936, and passed away August 9, 2023, at age 87, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He resided in Chatsworth GA after retiring from a long career at Oak Park High School in Oak Park IL. He was head of maintenance for the school.
He was preceded in death by his father, John James Frank Sr.; mother Grace Olivia Frank; wife Patricia Mieron Frank.
He is survived by his son, Ricky J. Frank, daughters, Renee C. Bailer, Donna M. Kruise, and Debra A. Czyz; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
John also served in the US Navy from 1954 to 1958.
Our father was a warmhearted, honorable man who loved his family and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
John was loved immensely and will be missed by us all.
At his request, he was to be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
