Joann (Winkler) Gregg

Mrs. Joann Winkler Gregg age 83 of Flowery Branch and formerly of Chatsworth passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Select Specialty Hospital,  Atlanta, GA.

She was preceded in death by her husbands LeRoy Nichols and James Townsend and son Roy Nichols. Brothers D.A, Walter, Johnny, and Ed Winkler one sister Willie Ruth Fowler.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Joye and Scooter Nix of Chatsworth, Gary and Soe Nichols of Cohutta, Ronnie Nichols of Adairsville, Bruce and Rena' Townsend of Flowery Branch, Brian and Jodi Townsend of Kennesaw.  Grandchildren Craig Cagle,  Karen Veney, Lamar Nichols, Drew Nichols, Zabrina Romo, Lauren Townsend, Kristen Townsend, Jacob Townsend, and Jamie Townsend.  A sister and brother in law, Geneva and Warren Carder of Chatsworth.  Several Great grandchildren, Great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be Saturday 11 am at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating.  Interment will follow in the Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 5 till 9 pm
