Mrs. Jenita ( J J ) Dodson age 68 of Chatsworth passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dillard and Opal Jones, Brothers, Conn and Larry Jones.

Mrs. Dodson is survived by her husband of 34 years L.V. Dodson. Children and spouses, Duane and Amanda Dodson, Crystal and Richard Rogers, Shelia and Daniel Littlejohn, Wanda Gunter, Charlotte Allen, Lonnie and Clarissa Dodson all of Chatsworth, Karen Reeves and Paul Whittle both of Ellijay. Brother and sister in law, Lanier and Elaine Jones of Gainsville, GA. Sister and brother in law, Martha and Travis Rawel of Jasper, GA. Special friends Jacob Paige of Chatsworth and Linda Tibbs of Dalton. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday 2 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday 5 till 9 pm.
