Jean Poarch

Jean Poarch, age 90, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 16, 2022, surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her son, Ronal Young; parents Dennis and Emma Johns; daughter in law Judy Young; brother Dennis Johns Jr.: sisters, Faye Scott, Model Kendrick, Anner Lou Ridley, Syble Green, Betty Steelman, Bobbie Jo Stanley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Bob Poarch of Resaca GA; granddaughters, Beth Young Lawwell (Josh)of Shelbyville TN, Brittany Poarch of Chatsworth; great-grandchildren, Jessica and Johnathan Lawwell of Shelbyville TN, Ali Hulett of Chatsworth; stepsons Steve Poarch of Chatsworth and Mike Poarch of Oakman GA; brothers, Isaac Johns (Wylene) of Resaca GA and Jerry Johns (Martie)  of Chatsworth GA; several nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends also survive.
A service to honor the life if Jean Poarch will be 2 pm Sunday, November 20, 2022, at Canaanland Baptist Church, with Bro. Isaac Johns and Bro. R.V. Stanley officiating. The interment will be in the Craine Eater Cemetery. She will lie in-state at Canaanland Baptist Church on Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 12 pm to 2 pm.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 4 pm to 7 pm.
