James “Tripp” Douglas Arrendale, age 40, of Chatsworth, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. 

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lee Roy and Era Mae Minchew, Bob Arrendale, and Maybelle Chastain.

He is survived by his sons Nolan and Dalton Arrendale; mother, Loretta Hicks; father Bobby Arrendale; sister, Shandalia Arrendale (Jeff Carter); nieces, Alexis Ketchem (Dillon), Courtney Brock, and Megan Brock; special aunt, Darlene Smithson; several, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who are like his family, also survive.

A service to celebrate the life of James Arrendale will be at 3 pm Friday, July 5, 2024, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Bell officiating. The interment will be at the Spring Place Church of God of Union Assembly Cemetery. The family will receive their friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 2 pm to 3 pm.
