James "Leroy" Epperson Sr. age, 82 passed away Thursday, May, 26,2022 at his residence.

Leroy was preceded in death by his father, Ross Epperson; mother, Jeanette Farmer; wife of 55 years Ann Epperson.

Survived by his children and spouses, Angie (Danny) Cochran, Javana McAllister, Leroy Jr. (Ashley) Epperson all of Dalton Gregory ( Amber) Whitmire of Soddy Daisy TN; siblings and spouses, Wanda (Charles) Hackney, Philip ( Vickie) Epperson of Dalton; grandchildren, Lindsey Stallings, Corey McAllister, Trey Epperson, Cassie ( Dustin) Coker, Erica McAllister, and Evan Whitmire; great-grandchildren Grayson, Lisette, Milisende, Citizen, Hadley, Psalm, and Navy: family friend, Chuck Wells along with many special friends and relatives that also survive.

The funeral service to honor the life of Leroy Epperson will be Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 1 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Charles Hackney and Danny Cochran officiating; A eulogy to be given by his grand-daughters. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 28, 2022, from 11 am to 1 pm the funeral hour.
