James "Jimmy" Bowen Obituary

Jimmy T. Bowen, age 75, passed away on November 3.2021, from injuries sustained in a house fire.

Preceded in death by his parents, E.J.. and Naomi Bowen: brother and sister in law, Calvin and Linda Bowen: sister Sheila Bowen: father and mother in law, Fonzo and Essie Cochran.

He was survived by his wife of 54 years, Brenda Bowen, sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and LouOla Bowen. Travis and Sheila Bowen: daughters and son in law, Donna Crump, Tonya and Brian Stone: grandchildren and spouses, Matt and Audrey Chambers, Kyle Chambers, Jade, and Drew Dover, Briana and Tommy Biddy, Carrie Morehead, Kaitlyn Stone, Johnie Crump, Emmie Kilgore, and Anzlee Stone: 11 great-grandchildren: sister, Teresa Johnson, brothers, Pat, Gary, Randy, and Dale Bowen: half brother Kenneth Russo.

A funeral service for Mr. Bowen will be Monday, November 8.2021 at 2 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Eddie Cochran and Bobby Bowers officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral on Sunday, November 7, 2021, from 5 pm to 9 pm
