James Edward Loving of Chatsworth, Georgia left a world of blindness and immobility on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. James was born in Japan on September 1, 1950. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Mildred Allen Loving. He is survived by his daughter Pamela Renee Lloyd (Terry Ovbey) and son James Allen Loving; grandchildren Taylor Lloyd, Chays Lankford, and Chris Goines; sisters Judy Hughes Lee of Coushata, LA and Paulette Welsh of Houston, TX; niece Michelle Bowman and nephews Timmy and Kevin Hughes. James considered Kendra Turner, Ed Penland, Susan Torres and Mickey McNeill as his special friends along with his cat Dennis.

James was an active member of the Chatsworth Lions Club and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth. He was a beloved son, brother, daddy, grandfather, Uncle Eddie, friend and an avid LSU fan.

The service to celebrate the life of James Loving will be held at the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth on  Monday August 18th at 3pm. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the memorial service. Rev. Randy Ellis, Rev. George Ross and Dr. Mickey McNeill will be officiating. Members of the Chatsworth Lions Club will serve as honorary pallbearers.
