James Calhoun Obituary

James Kendall Calhoun, age 81, passed away April 6, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Calhoun is preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Doll Calhoun: sister, Phyllis Ann Chambers.

He is survived by his wife Peggy Jo Long, of the residence: son and daughter in law, Jim and Julie Calhoun of Chatsworth: daughter and son in law, Sarah and Rodney McElrath of Calhoun: brother, Phillip Calhoun of Destin FL: grandaughters , Holly and Lilah Calhoun, Hannah and Rebekah McElrath : great-nieces, nephews and cousins also survived.

The funeral service for Mr. Calhoun will be Friday, April 9, 2021, at 1 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Pope officiating. The interment will be at the Pleasant Arbor Cemetery in Waleska, GA.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 5 pm to 9 pm.
