James Bennett Obituary

James Bennett, age 80, passed away on February 6, 2021, at Advent-Health Gordon.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Bennett: parents, Monroe and Tennie Bennett: brothers, Floyd, Robert, Howard, and Frank Bennett; sisters, Lee Young, Jean McCulley, and Redith Locke: grandson, Derrick Hall: son in law, Dale Harrison.

He is survived by, sons and daughters in law, Lynn and Sharon Lowery, Tim and Lisa Bennett: daughter, LaRhonda Harrison, daughters and sons in law, Loraine and Matt Crisfield, Jackie and Harold Rogers: brother, JR Bennett: sister, Edith Burger: 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Services for Mr. Bennett will be at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, with C.J. Palmer officiating. Interment will be in the New Hope-Kilgore Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 8, 2021, at the funeral home from 5 pm to 9 pm.
