Mr. Jackie Dixon “Little Jack” of Chatsworth went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 7, 2024, surrounded by his family.

He was an honest hard working husband and father with a servant's heart who loved Elvis, Donald Trump, Nascar, and the Georgia Bulldogs.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jackie and Virginia Dixon; son Gage Dixon; grandparents Decatur and Ode Parker; and father in law Floyd Shipman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Pam Dixon of Chatsworth; children and spouses, Chad and Renee Dixon of Dalton, Amanda and Brad Gable of Crandall, Justin and Katie Dixon of Eton, Elisabeth and Derek Beavers of Eton, Chassidy and Jacob York of Rocky Face and Seth Dixon of Ellijay; grandchildren Haley, Reece, Madison, Chet, Austin, Zander, “B”, Isaac, Elisa, Haven, Fennleigh, Crosley, and Mason; brothers Bobby(Jacklyn) Dixon and Johnny Dixon; special aunt and uncle Ray and Betty Jo Parker and Reba Ensley; mother in law Evelyn Shipman; brother in laws and spouses Buddy and Angie Shipman, Donald and Kristina Shipman and Gary and Crystal Shipman; dearest friends Alex Williams and Judy McGill and several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

A service to honor the life of “Little Jack” Dixon will be held on November 12, 2024, at 2 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Devon Cantrell officiating. The interment will be at Hopewell Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 5 to 8 PM.
