Jack "Steve" Steven Stinson

Mr. Jack "Steve" Steven Stinson, age 67, of Dalton, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Hamilton Medical Center. 

Steve was well known for his extraordinary  carpentry skills.  He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Wesley Stinson.

He is survived by children and spouses, Summer and Alan York of Chatsworth, Joe and Christina Stinson of Dalton, Michelle and Tom Hawkins of Chattanooga, Eric Slaton of Hazelhurst, Mississippi: mother, Lucille Welch of Dalton: sister and brother in law, Annette and Eddie Slade of Dalton: grandchildren, Jonathan York, Wesley York, HunterStinson, Blake Stinson, Cheyenne Murdoch, Malia Flowers, Taylor Flowers, and Autumn Flowers: great-grandchildren, Asher York, Sylas Flowers, Isaiah  Adamiack, Jalen Flowers, Ariah Flowers, Wyatt McCullough, Noah McCullough: nephew, Noah Slade.

The funeral service for Mr. Stinson will be Saturday, September 25. 2021, at 2 PM at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Rev.  Tommy Crider and Rev. John Parker officiating.  Interment will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home on Friday, September 24 from 5 until 9 PM.
