J. W. Bright Obituary

Mr. J W Bright age 82 of Dalton passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, at Erlanger Medical Center. He was born on March 8, 1938.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lilburn and Minnie Bright. Brothers and sisters in law, Gene and Annie Mae Bright, James and Eva Timms.

After graduating from Dalton High School in 1956, he attended Middle Tennessee College and later played softball for the US Army. He was an avid golfer and made many lifelong friends. Mr. Bright was a loving husband, father, and pawpaw, he will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his spouse Billie Bright of Dalton. Children and spouses, Jay and Angie Bright of West Palm Beach, FL, Missy Crumbley of Dalton. Sister and brother in law, Patricia and Earl Parker, and a brother Eddie Timms all of Dalton. Grandchildren, Hali Belle Sheram of Atlanta. Megan Michael of Dalton, Jennifer Hicks of Chatsworth, heather Woodworth of Madison, MS, Stephanie Woodworth of Redding, CA, and Hunter Bright of Dalton.Nephew and spouse, Cody and Kaitlin Parker, niece Emily Bright. Special friends LeRoy Epperson and Grover Jennings. Special thanks to James Rose for making J W's; last days simple.

Graveside services will be on Monday,  November 23, 2020, at 2 pm from Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
