Iona Louise Malone, age 84, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones. 

She is preceded in death by her Husband Jack Alfred Malone, Parents William and Gene Appleby, Children Joe Malone, and Jack Alan Malone. Grandchild, Andrew Wood, Great Grandchild Spencer Milbourn. Sister, Ardis Hayes; and  Brother, Bobby Appleby.

She is survived by her children Pamela Neal, and Bonnie White,( Anthony Bowen). Grandchildren, Tammy Ebal, Kelly Tucker, Beau Joyce, Shawn and Amy Morris, Cayla and Kenny Moss, Destiny White, Jeremy Malone, Abby and Dos Bramblett, Troy Malone, Megan and Beau Johnson, Jamie Malone, Amos Milbourn; numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A service to honor the life of Iona Louise Malone will be at 3 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, located at 623 S Thornton Ave. Dalton GA 30720  with Pastor, John Rossing officiating. The interment will be in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 1 pm to 3 pm.
