Harold Glenn Brown

Harold Glenn Brown, 67, of Dalton, GA passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Hamilton Medical Center with his wife, sons, and daughter-in-law at his side.

He was a family man who loved nothing more than his wife and family, an avid Outdoorsman who cherished camping with his wife, a great hunter, and fisherman, a master woodworker, if she dreamed it up, he built it. He retired from Shaw Industries plant 4 in 2010, after 35 years, where he was a tufting machine mechanic and lead man. 

He was preceded by his parents, Lora Belle and Glenn Brown, brothers in law AC Brooks and DL Manis.

He is survived by the absolute apple of his eye, the love of his life, and his wife of 50 years, Reba Brown. His sons and daughter-in-law, Terry Brown, and Jamie and Amber Brown. His grandsons and best buddies Tyler Brown, Austin Brown, and Brantley Brown. Granddaughter Ally Brown. Two great-granddaughters, Marlee and Samantha Brown. Brother and Sister-in-law Paul and Barbara Brown, Sister and Brother-in-law Brenda and Richard Beasley. A host of extended family members and friends. And his precious little puppy, Paige.

The funeral service to honor the life of Harold Brown will be at 3 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2023, in the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with  Tony Roberson officiating. The interment will be in the Center Valley Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
