Guinn Edward "Eddie" Wimpey, age 64, of Atlanta, passed away on June 3, 2020, at Grady Hospital.

Mr. Wimpey is preceded in death by his parents, Guinn Edward Sr. and Willa Jean Wimpey.

He was survived by his loving wife of 39 years Kay Wimpey of Atlanta: children and spouses, Ronald Agan of Atlanta, Chad Condra of Douglasville, Christina Leisenring of Austin AR, Jonathan Wimpey, Alina Wimpey of Dallas GA: grandchildren, Trevor Leisenring, Caleb Leisenring: sisters Alice Faye Wimpey Propheter, Judy Denise Wimpey Elrod, Deon Wimpey Janice Elizabeth Wimpey Lunsford, Cynthia Ann Wimpey several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Wimpey will be Sunday, June 7, 2020, at 1 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Condra officiating. Interment will follow in the Sumach Cumberland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to the funeral hour at 1:00 PM.
