Grady Banks Coggins Jr. age 59 of Fairmount GA, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Hamilton Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Grady Sr. and Lanora Coggins, brother, Larry Silvers, and sister Cathy Silvers.
He is survived by his long-time girlfriend, Rebecca Parrish of Fairmount; siblings and spouses, Ronnie and Michelle Coggins of Ranger, Greg Coggins of Fairmount, Gary and Wanda Silvers, Charles Silvers, and Charlotte Mickley all three from Ellijay; children, Eddie Townsend of Chatsworth, Michael and Dianne Spivey of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Damion, Alyssa, and Kalen Townsend; nieces, nephew, and cousins also survive.
A service to honor the life of Grady Coggins Jr. will be at 2 pm Tuesday, August 1, 2023, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Ranger GA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on August 1, 2023, from 11 am to 2 pm.
