Gertrud Young

Mrs. Gertrud Young, age 78 of Chatsworth, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Ridgewood Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She is preceded in death by her husband: William "Bill" Young, son: William E. "Billy" Young, and a brother: Willie Sehrt.

Mrs. Young is survived by children and spouses: Carolyn and Wyndell Buford of Chatsworth, Jerry and Janice Young of Fort Oglethorpe, grandchildren: Christina Cunningham, Dallas Hall III, Ross Young, Chase Young, Chelsea Young, Jerry Young Jr., Terry and Sherry Allen of Dalton, Jason Young, great grandchildren: Jasmine Hall, Jordan Hall, Alanah Cunningham, Avery Young, Ariana Young and Ethan Young, sister: Liesel Zimmerman of Frankfurt, Germany, several nieces and nephews and special friends: Sherry Allen of Dalton, Joyce and Terry Fussell of Nashville, TN, Ashley Hall of Chatsworth, Geneva Walker of Chatsworth, and Kimberly Craig of Chatsworth.

Service for Mrs. Young will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018, at 2 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Sunday after 4 pm.
