Georgia Arlene (Long) Cochran Obituary
Georgia Cochran, age 91 of Chatsworth went home to be with the lord, on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded by her parents, Lee and Vadie Long; husband, L.B. Cochran; brothers, Gordon, Lester, Warden, and Morgan Long; sisters, Dovie Pelt and Natalie Long.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Barbara and Gil Martin, Carolyn and Danny Pelt, Jenny and Ralph Short, Jeff and Starr Cochran, and Tony and Loretta Cochran; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
A service to honor the life of Georgia Cochran will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Williams officiating. The interment will be in the Fairy Valley Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
