George Hurley Obituary

Mr. George E. Hurley, age 85, of Chatsworth, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018.

He served in the United States Air Force, a member of the Dalton Masonic Lodge and a lifelong truck driver.

Mr. Hurley was preceded in death by his wife: Jeanette (Sharp) Hurley, a daughter: Vickie Stephens, and parents: James Edward and Lou Ella (Snow) Hurley.

Survivors include a son: Larry Carlton Hurley of Chatsworth, brothers: Kenneth Hurley of Warner Robbins, and Jerry Hurley of Calhoun, sisters: Barbara Griffin of California and Roselle Caylor of Rocky Face. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 4 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Becker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday 2 pm till 4 pm.
