Charles Gary Stinnett, age 77, of Chatsworth, passed away on June.23,2025, Surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Beulah Stinnett, brothers, Jimmy and Billy Stinnett, and sister, Johnnie Stinnett.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diane Stinnett, son Michael (Nicole) Stinnett, grandson Mason Stinnett, granddaughters Katie (Andy)South, Victoria Lambert, great-grandsons Boone and Jameson South. sisters, Robbie Wheat, Jean (Dwight) Sheram, Karen Barton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Gary and his wife Diane owned Paula's Flower Shop in Chatsworth for 40 years. Gary was a lifelong resident of Chatsworth and graduated from Murray County High School in 1966. Gary was an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan, the family asked for his family and friends to wear a Georgia Bulldogs shirt or something red to honor Gary. A service to honor the life of Gary Stinnett will be held at 3 p m on Friday, June 27, 2025, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Willis officiating. The interment will be in the Eton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on June 27, 2025, from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M.
