Gary Dunnett, age 82, of Chatsworth, passed away on February 24, 2023, at his residence.

Gary was born in St. Mary, OH to Malcolm and Frieda (Wehage) Dunnett, on July 30, 1940. Gary Graduated from Columbus Grove High School in 1958. He retired from Manatee County FL.Sheriff's Department in 1997

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Julie Goedde, the mother of his children; he was also married to Lynda Freeler for thirty-four years until her death in 2015: stepson. Kurt Staut

He is survived by his children, Michael Dunnett, and Michele Dunnett both of Bradenton; stepchildren, Bari(Ron) Litchauer and Eric (Monica) Staut; grandchildren, Ashley, Cody, Rilee, Levi, Michaela, and Ryan and four great-grandchildren; brother, Jim (Carolyn) Dunnett of Ottawa OH; sister, Christine (Bruce) Rasor of Riga MI; and his best friend Bootsie.
