Gary Lamar Cagle, age 70, passed away on November 14, 2021.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mary Cagle: brother and sister in law Jimmy and Shirley Wilson Pass: brother in law Randall Goble: sister in law Alice Erwin Pass: His donor Tony.
Survived by his loving wife, of 50 years, Cheryl Pass Cagle of Chatsworth: son Gary " Brent" Cagle of Chatsworth: grandson: Avery Beck Cagle of Ringgold: Marcus "Clay" and Connie Pass of Dubuque IA: sister in law, Patrica Elaine Pass Goble, of Swartz Creek MI: brother in law Mickey Pass and Geryl Pass both of Calhoun: several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Gary loved life, and going places, mention the word "go" he had his bags packed ready to hit the road. He had a love for cars at the very early age of four. When he started school he could tell you the name of all the cars that the teachers drove. His main passion was cars and motorcycles, he would attend car and motorcycle shows with his many friends. Gary's heart was broken when he had to sell his beloved " Harley " due to his failing health, he could not ride anymore. He was so happy to have sold it to one of his best friends Tim Black. Gary served his country for two years in the United States Army.
Gary worked at P and R Auto Sales in Calhoun for 16 years, until his health started declining, On March 20 2014 he had a double transplant, kidney, and liver at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
On Thursday, November 18, 2021, a memorial service at 3 pm in the Chapel of Max Brannon Funeral Home, in Calhoun GA, with Alan Holcomb and Brad Cooper officiating. If weather permitting the family asks for you to ride your motorcycle or your antique cars. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 pm until the funeral hour. Honorable pallbearers are Daryl Keeter, Bob Vanvlake, Mark Smith(JJ), Chuck Langston, Billy Johnson, Ruben Allen (Dog), Jimmy Darnell, Ronnie Tenpenny, Paul Long, Tom Black, Larry Ward, Goble Herdom.
