Fred “Freddie” James Stanley, age 73, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, September 1, 2025.
He is preceded by his parents, Louis and Eunice Stanley; brothers, J.C., Hershel, and Clayton Stanley; and sister, Claudie Bearden, Willie Burns, and Clara Dupree.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rickie Stanley; daughters and son-in-law, Tracy and Michael Vineyard, Tina and Bobby Tinsley; granddaughters, Krysta and Noah Hatfield, and Rae Tinsley; grandson, Michael Dakota James Smith; great-grandchildren, Kase and Tenslie Hatfield; brother and sister in law, Carl and Patricia Stanley; sister, Eve Mae Shelton.
A service to honor the life of Fred “Freddie James Stanley will be 2 pm Friday, September 5, 2025, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Weathers officiating. The interment will be in the United Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 5 pm to 8 pm.
