Reverend Eurshel Rogers went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on January 6, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Jackie Rogers; grandson Matthew Maynor; son in laws Dean Levin and Michael Bias; parents Eules and Grace Rogers; siblings Thelma Pence, Ollie Black, Louise Harris, Charlene Mead, Joyce Truslow, Thurman Rogers, Floyd Rogers, JC Boring, Robert Rogers and Kenneth Rogers.

He is survived by his daughters Kathy Bias, Lisa Levin, Vickie Manning, Amy Perkins(Joe); sister Linda Pritchett; grandchildren Jennifer Fischer(Jason), Cody Rogers, Jeffery Wheat(Megan), Brooke Jones(Zach), Cristen Wheat, and Rachel Priest(Brady); one special niece Tronda Baber; several great grandchildren nieces and nephews also survive.

He fiercely loved and protected his family. He was a hard worker and worked his whole life building his business and loved more than anything getting on his tractor in his yard. He loved the Lord and served him until the very end. He won the race and now he is home.

A service to honor the life of Eurshel Rogers will be held Friday January 9, 2026 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Lamar Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on January 8, 2026 from 5pm to 8pm. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery in Dalton, GA.
