Essie Bernice Cockburn Obituary
Essie Bernice Cockburn, age 83 of Chatsworth, went home to be with the Lord. Monday, August 4, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Elizabeth Dills Cockburn; her brothers, Dennis, John, Raybill, and Marshall Cockburn; and her sisters, Lula Nichols, Grace Talley, Viola Cooper, Willie Ella Maddron, Mamie Walker, Shirley Cockburn, and Ivy Headrick.
She is survived by her sister, Mattie Ledford, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to honor the life of Essie Bernice Cockburn will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Headrick Family Cemetery, located at 1458 Tennga Gregory Road, Crandall, GA 30711. Donations can be made toward her final expenses.
