Elizabeth Ann Harris, known to all as “Mammy”, age 70, of Chatsworth passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev Vernon Carl Harris; parents, Montie and Edna Flood; brother, Montie Flood Jr., father and mother-in-law, Vernice and Ada Harris; sister-in-law, Winnie Hughes; brothers-in-law, Lamar Flood, Charles Osborne, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Johnny and Phyllis Harris, Ralph, and Dot Harris, and Ted and Virginia Harris.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Matthew and Denise Harris; grandchildren, Hannah and Isaac Harris; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Marchelle Flood; sister and brother-in-law, Nadine and Donnie Copeland; special great-nephew, Parker Benson; sisters-in-law, Lynda Flood, Mable Osborne; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roger and Pat Harris; several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. 

A service to honor the life of Elizabeth “Ann” Harris, will be 3 pm Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Lakeview Baptist Church, with Bobby Green, Donnie Flood, and Matthew Harris officiating. The interment will be in the Eton Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted, or donations toward her final expenses.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 5 pm to 9 pm and on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 9 am to 9 pm.
