Elaine Bridges Obituary
Elaine Ellis Bridges, of Chatsworth, passed away peacefully at her home on March 29, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harlan and Ruth Ellis.
She is survived by her children, Russell (Jen) Bridges, Matthew (Marcy) Bridges, Lauren (Timothy) Thomason; grandchildren, Alanis (Adam) Ian Bridges, Olivia Bridges, Cadence Bennett, Adalyn Thomason; cousin, Jerry Presley, several family members, and friends also survive.
She enjoyed her long career as a teacher and librarian in the Murray County school system. She was a lifelong member of Center Valley United Methodist as the pianist.
A service to honor the life of Elaine Bridges will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Katie Strals officiating. The Interment will be in the Center Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 11 am to 2 pm.
