Mrs. Effie Lee Callahan, age 100, of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021,

Effie is preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Callahan parents Mack and Carrie Ridley: brothers Walter, Marvin, and Buford Ridley: sisters, Birdie Green, Gussie Johnson, Fannie Ridley.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Jean Johnson of Chatsworth: grandchildren and spouses, Vickie and Jimmy Dean, Joyce and Robin Stanley both of Chatsworth: great-grandchildren, Justin and Samatha Dean of Belgrade MT, Stephanie and Kelby Holbrook of Calhoun, Joshua and Danielle Stanley of Varnell Jena and Mikey Lee of Buford: great-grandchildren, Archer Dean and Ireland Dean. Special friends Tommy and Faye Miles and Gina Stanley,

The funeral service for Mrs. Callahan will be Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 3 pm in the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cochran and Tommy Miles officiating. Interment will be in the New Hope-Kilgore Cemetery The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 pm to 3 pm on the day of the funeral.
