It is with profound sadness that the family of Dymple Gallman Dunn Burnes announced her peaceful
passing on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the age of 85, surrounded by her loving family at Hamilton Medical
Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Monnie Gallman; husbands, Eugene Talmadge
Dunn and R.F. (Raymond) Burnes; son, Phillip Eugene Dunn;  brother-in-law Henry
Burchfield; great-grandchildren, Whitney Dunn and PJ Dunn; brother, Bobby (Barbara) Gallman; nephew,
Erik Gallman; and niece Denise Delashmitt.
She is survived by her loving children, Sheila Dunn, David Dunn, Deborah Dunn Lin, Vicki (Milan) Brown,
Amy (Doug) Hammontree; grandchildren; Michael Hawkins, Melody Hawkins, Kimberly Grizzle, Jason
Dunn, Shana Claxton, Nick Clegg, Amber Livengood, Matthew Hurdt, Chase Brown, Ryan Hammontree,
Derrick Hammontree, Eli Hammontree; great-grandchildren, Stacie Yell, Mikey (Trinity) Hawkins, Tyler Harrison,
Dustin (Tinsley) Harrison, Rebeka Harrison, Drew Erwin, Dylan Erwin, and Axel Livingood; numerous great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy
(Paulette) Gallman, Jackie (Augustine) Gallman; sisters, Betty (Robert) Bailey, Charlotte Burchfield,
Connie (Alan) Reed; stepmother, Mary Lou Gallman; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, extended
family and friends.
She was known for her endless talents such as baking, sewing, artistry, pianist, and gardening. Above all,
she was a devout Christian and a member of the Church of Christ of Latter-Day Saints since 1969 and
liked attending multiple other churches in the community. She touched many lives and will be greatly
missed by all.
The family wishes to send a Special Thank You to the Staff of Hamilton Medical Center who
compassionately went above and beyond with the highest quality of care for our Precious Mama.

A funeral service to honor the life of Dymple Burnes will be Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 2 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. The interment will be in the Fairly Valley Baptist Church Cemetery

A Visitation Service will be held from 5-8 on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home 2362 US-76 Chatsworth, Ga 30705.
