Douglas Hudson Obituary

Mr. Douglas Eugene Hudson, age 76, of Chatsworth, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 20, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Delma Hudson: and brothers, Ernie and Woody Hudson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Janie Hudson of Chatsworth: son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Lecia Hudson of Crandall: daughters and son-in-law, Karen and Lee Cox and Letitia Hudson of Chatsworth: sisters and brothers-in-law, Patsy and S.J. Witherow of Chatsworth, Judy and Jim Burgess of Chatsworth: grandchildren, Brandi and Adam Steelmon, Blakeli and Payton Swilling, Colby Cox, great-grandchildren, Tavyn and Tayte Steelmon: Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A service to honor the life of Douglas Hudson will be Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 3 PM, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Poteet and Rev. Shane Williams officiating. Interment will be in Whitfield Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends from 12 until 3 on Wednesday.
