Dorothy Janell Fleming

Dorothy Janell Fleming, age 87, of the Casey Springs Community, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

Dorothy was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arvil and Sarah Stover Stanley; husband, Van Fleming; brothers Ronald Stanley and Randall Stanley; sister, Shirley Brindle; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth and J.P. Fowler, Wanda Faye and Robert Penley, Barbara and Dean Fowler; grandson Van Randall Fleming.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley and Sarah Fleming, and Perry and Connie Fleming, both of Chatsworth. Grandchildren, Calvin and Angie Ray, Robin Fleming, Anthony and Amanda Fleming, Micah Fleming, Joy Fleming, Courtney and David Chambers, and Amanda and Bobby Arp; great-grandchildren, Alaina and Brett Culpepper, Emily and Quinn Wagner, Aidan, Brayden and Gavin Fleming, Austin and Kailyn Carnes, Hunter Carnes, Tyler Fleming, Jada Fleming, Chris Ferrell and Kobe Chambers; great-great-grandchildren, Luke Carnes and Thalia Ferrell: sister in law Mae Stanley and several nieces and nephews also survive and special caregiver Rhonda (sis) Davenport

A service to honor the life of Dorothy Janell Fleming will be 2 pm Friday, January 6, 2023, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, with minister Jule Medders officiating. The interment will be in the Casey Springs Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on  Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 5 pm to 9 pm.
